At Once Upon a Time Nursery in Beddau, Pontypridd, we provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can feel secure, explore their interests and flourish.
Every child is unique. Our experienced practitioners take time to get to know each child as an individual, building warm and trusting relationships while creating opportunities for learning through play, exploration and everyday experiences.
From our youngest babies and toddlers through to preschool, children’s wellbeing, happiness and development are at the heart of everything we do.

Our approach is centred around the individual child. We observe their interests, respond to their ideas and provide an enabling environment where curiosity can grow.
Rather than placing unnecessary limits on children’s learning, our practitioners provide the support, resources and experiences that allow children to investigate, experiment, create and discover.

Baby & Toddler Care
A warm, nurturing environment where our youngest children can develop secure relationships and explore through sensory play, movement, songs, stories, messy play and outdoor experiences.
Preschool Care – Ages 2+
An engaging environment where children can follow their interests, make choices and develop their communication, confidence, independence, friendships and physical skills.
Supporting Your Family
We are a CIW and Estyn registered nursery and participate in a number of childcare schemes available to eligible families, including Flying Start, the Childcare Offer for Wales and Tax-Free Childcare.
